Smiley community Kitano Gakuen where cheerful children are impressive.
In this design the purpose is connecting nursery school and kindergarten originally. I aimed for the place having a role of entrance but the place people will gather.
I considered about local material production and consumption, so the fragrance of the cedar makes the space comfortable. I created “places” of the community of the relief, because teachers are able to pay attention to the children making use of the distance between entrance and teacher’s room.
