Crystal beauty
In architectural as well as spacial design, you cannot expect to capture people's fascination with an exterior beauty created by simply tidying up the outside surfaces. It is also no exaggeration to say that female beauty does not rest just on appearance, but that it is affected by what comes from within.
Given the requirements and site environment at TIP TOP mejiro, I used a design concept of "true and crystalline beauty," and aimed to create a space that would give the people that visited it a sense of beauty that might be everlasting. I expressed this elegantly translucent and clear beauty through a collaboration with Swarovski, and I think that an atmosphere that brings out not only a woman's external beauty, but also her deepest desires with respect to beauty, like those of her inner child, pure and innocent, has been created.
